The Soldiers Memorial unveiling ceremony was conducted by State Commandant, Brigadies General Charles Brand on Wednesday 6th of April 1921. The Soldier standing at attention at the apex is made of the finest Italian marble. This beautiful monument stands beside the Northern Highway in the middle of Tooborac village as a steadfast reminder to all: the price for our freedom was costly.
